College Football Recap
Last week we had the pick of the week with Missouri at home against Alabama with lines ranging from +3 up to +4.5. Hope if you tailed this one you took the half points. Worst case you got a push out of it and lived to see another day.
CFB Pick of The Week: 1-0-1
Moving onto consensus, Army couldn’t cover and came in another push at -17, while USC handled business at home against Michigan to hit the moneyline recommendation.
CFB Consensus Picks: 1-0-1
Finally, we had 3 CFB trending picks in Ohio State, Clemson, and Oregon all as a TD or more favorite. Ohio State avoided the backdoor to cover -14, Clemson went wire to wire to cover -13, while Indiana took Oregon to the woodshed and won the game handily to remain undefeated.
CFB Trending Picks: 2-1
Overall, great week in CFB if you followed the pods, with a total record of 4-1-2.
NFL Recap
The NFL got off to a slow start with the pick of week of Saints coming up short of +3.5 spread, however we noted 3 shows did dissent and took the Patriots.
NFL Pick of the Week: 0-1
Onto the consensus picks, where we highlighted the following:
Panthers +3.5 - ✅
Browns +4.5 - ❌
Indy -5.5 - ❌
Falcons +4.5 - ✅
Bears +4.5 ✅
Both Monday football games came through. Many analysts had highlighted both teams getting points coming off a bye as a huge advantage, so might be something there!
NFL Consensus Picks: 3-2
Trending picks were an impressive 4-0, with what seemed to be conflicting Dolphins/Chargers recommendations threading the needle and both hitting.
